WHO IS JULIE ANNA ALVAREZ?
Julie Anna Alvarez is a Feng Shui consultant and public speaker with a unique background that allows her to relate to the myriad concerns of both her residential and business clienteles.
A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, she practiced as a licensed New York State attorney and has spent her entire professional career helping people find solutions to improve their circumstances. She continues to help people now, not as a Doctor of Law, but as a certified Feng Shui consultant who makes “house calls.”

A graduate of the internationally acclaimed training program “The Accelerated Path™” founded and taught by Feng Shui expert and author Nancy SantoPietro (Feng Shui: Harmony By Design and Feng Shui & Health: The Anatomy of A Home), Julie Anna Alvarez was personally mentored by SantoPietro and was a Senior Associate of Nancy SantoPietro & Associates prior to launching her own Feng Shui consultation and seminars enterprise. In addition to studying with SantoPietro, Julie Anna has also studied with her teacher’s mentor, H.H. Grand Master Lin Yun Rinpoche, as well as Denise Linn, Katherine Metz, R.D. Chin, Gina Lazenby and Nancy Rosanoff—all noted figures in the world of Feng Shui, Space Clearing, Healthy Homes and Intuition Development.
It was during a week-long Accelerated Path™ training retreat in Hawaii back in August 1999 that Julie Anna received the nickname of “Happy Chi” from her classmate Dr. Joan Cronise and it was quickly adopted by others, since it was a reflection of her joyful personality and optimistic outlook of seeing solutions instead of problems. The nickname has stuck ever since and is the inspiration at the heart of HAPPY CHI SOLUTIONS.
Julie Anna has been one of the most popular speakers for The New York Times’ LifeSkills 2004 Lecture Series. Her client list for workshop presentations also includes The 2004 Spa & Resort Expo and Conference, Oasis Day Spa and The Downtown Women’s Club of New York City. Julie Anna is also a frequent guest on the “Jacqueline Internacional” Spanish-language cable television program. Her private residential and corporate clients range from locations in the New York Metro area to as far as Puerto Rico.
